Cor JEsu AthleticsCor Jesu Academy, a preparatory high school for girls, came to Atomicdust during the summer of 2022 to create a brand identity for their athletics department. Not only did this involve a logo for sports jerseys, but it expanded to a new mascot, interior design, and much more. Our work gave students something to rally around and gave them a new sense of school spirit and pride.

Cor Jesu Academy was known for the chargers, typically depicted by a horse and sometimes by a lightning bolt. After consulting numerous students, faculty, coaches, and alumni, we decided to keep the Chargers as the team’s mascot. However, we created a bolt lockup to portray the electric energy felt by athletes and fans alike.
The collateral buildout varied from jersey designs, interior decals, fan gear, and even a horse wearing a kilt and scrimmage vest. The brand launched with fanfare and was immediateley adopted by the entire community.
